Location

Wilson Boutique Hotel is located on Avenida Diagonal, a short walk from the subway stop leading to all the city's most important streets and squares. Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya are less than 10 minutes by car while Paseo de Gracia is easy to reach.

Paseo de Gracia is probably the most elegant street in Barcelona. Jewelry stores and boutiques offer the chance for some high quality shopping while you walk among the buildings and architecture, the children of the Modernism movement. Among wrought iron street lamps, tapas bars and old cafes, you'll admire the extraordinary Manzana de la Discordia, three buildings on a single block where Catalonian modernists worked their magic.

Antoni Gaudì is the artist who, more than anyone else, changed the face of Barcelona. Casa Battlò and La Pedrera have winding profiles that banish straight lines, creating an extraordinary effect with sculpted stone, images from pre-history, dragon scales, statues, and decorations made from ceramics and wrought iron. During the summer evening, climb among the chimneys on La Pedrera's roof and let your imagination get away from you. It's worth it.

From Wilson Boutique Hotel, you can quickly reach Plaza Catalunya and from there, walk down Las Ramblas, one of the city's busiest districts. The heart of Barcelona is famous the world over, a favorite spot for millions of tourist that, about one kilometer long, runs through the very center of the pedestrian commercial center, enlivened by the numerous street artists with their street performances.

To the east of Las Ramblas is the Barrio Gotico, the old center of Barcelona. Famous for its narrow alleys and tiny squares, the city's old political center is full of stores, bars and ancient buildings. If you go further afield, walking past La Ribera, you'll discover a brilliant example of Catalonian gothic in the mesmerizing Santa Maria al Mar Church and the incredible Palazzo della Musica Catalana, a real treasure.

On the other side, El Raval has undergone restorations in recent years and is now home to the MACBA Museum of Modern Art, the Centro di Cultura Contemporanea and numerous art galleries; there is also one of Gaudì's masterpieces: Palau Guell.

At the end of Ramblas, near the statue of Columbus that points to the sea, you'll find Port Vell. The old public port area was renovated for the 1992 Olympics and is now the center of Maremagnum full of stores, bars and clubs and the amazing aquarium, that can be reached from Rambla de Mar. Don't miss the Barceloneta, the ancient fisherman's district, now an extremely modern commerical center.

If you want to take in some breathtaking views of Barcelona, don't forget to go to Parc Guell and hike up to the small cross, climb the high towers of Sagrada Familia or visit Montjuic park.

Train.
If you arrive at the Sants Train Station. Take subway line 5 to the ‘Hospital Clinic’ stop; Wilson Boutique Hotel is 5 minutes by foot on Avenida Diagonal, number 568. If you arrive at the Piazza Catalogna Train Station, take subway line 3 and get off at the ‘Diagonal’ stop; Wilson Boutique Hotel is 5 minutes by foot on Avenida Diagonal, number 568.

Plane.
El Prat Airport in Barcelona is 12 km from downtown. To reach the airport, take a tax or the Renfe train that goes from the airport to the Sants train station, then follow the directions under "Train." Otherwise, use the bus services that goes from the airport to Piazza Catalogna and follow the directions under "Train."

Car.
From the airport: Take the Castelldefels motorway C-32 towards Barcelona, take the turn-off Gran Vía and go along Gran Via until Aribau street, turn left and go along Aribau street until you get to Diagonal Avenue, stay in the left side lane of Diagonal and in 50 metres you will find our hotel at number 568.
Taking Diagonal Avenue. Take Diagonal Avenue, go straight on and just after the square Francesc Macià stay in the side lane and turn right onto Muntaner street, go down two blocks and turn left on Paris street. Once you are on Paris street turn left on the first street and take Aribau; go straight on until Diagonal, stay in the left side lane of Diagonal and in 50 metres you will find our hotel at number 568.

Underground.
- From the airport, train RENFE to Plaza Cataluña. Change to L3 or FGC.
- L3 (green) get off in Diagonal. Way out: Diagonal Avenue. Our hotel is at number 568.

In autobus.
- From the airport take the bus to Plaza Cataluña.
- From Plaza Cataluña take bus line number 7 DIAGONAL MAR/ Z. UNIVERSITARIA at the bus stop Paseo de Gracia-Gran Via and after 5 stops get off in Diagonal Avenue-Muntaner.
- From Sants Station, bus 27 or 32 bus stop Travesera de Gracia and Muntaner, go down one block and you will find our hotel in Diagonal and Muntaner.

The Wilson Boutique Hotel is like a high end resort with an elevator, located in the heart of one of Barcelona's districts, full of commercial activity and stores, not too far from Paseo de Gracia and the Università Politecnica. The hotel offers its clients a warm greeting and the services of a highly professional staff.

At the reception, open 24 hours, you can ask for all sorts of information, book guided tours and excursions to the city's most interesting sites, rent a car or a bicycle and use the laundry service and luggage storage. If you come by car, you can leave it at a parking lot that has an agreement with us.

A buffet breakfast is served from 07:00 to 11:00 in a lovely room, full of charm, peace and quiet. In our hall, you'll find the top national and international newspapers to leaf through while sitting on one of our comfortable sofas, fully relaxed.
